FinnMK's News

Posted by FinnMK - April 24th, 2015

Hi everyone,

I'm Finn M-K, a professional game/film composer living in Ottawa, Canada! I've worked on several games and films in the past and I'm looking for talented developers with great games to score. I am only interested in paid work. I apologize to talented developers with no budget, but this is how I make a living and I do not do pro bono projects.

I'm always happy to negotiate budget and I can guarantee you will always receive a high quality finished score.

You can hear all of my music, see my past projects, and learn more about me on my website, www.finnmk.com. I'm also on other sites around the net, which I'll link below. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Cheers,
Finn M-K

Hi Newgrounds! I’m a game, film and animation composer living in Ottawa, Canada looking for interesting projects. I’ve been scoring games and films for a couple years, notably Creeper World III: Arc Eternal, the latest installment in the Creeper World series. If you’re a creator with a great project that needs some music, I might be your man! Have a listen to my work at the links below and let me know if you might be interested. As a note up front, I don’t work for free so before you message me please have a budget in mind for music.

Cheers,

Hi NG!

I'm a composer based in Ottawa, Canada. I'm currently studying at Carleton University doing a BMus. I'm always looking for interesting projects so feel free to message me if you need some music!

If videos are more your thing, then check out my YouTube page:

Capabilities:
I currently record and create in my basement studio which is equipped with a drum kit, a stage piano, guitar, bass, and some of my toys including a First Nations war drum, a West Ghanaian gankogui, a tambourine and a kalimba. I use MixCraft 6 with the EastWest Platinum sound library for most of my work and blend virtual instruments with recorded ones. I have a network of skilled musicians I can call upon to record parts depending on the work, including strings, saxophone, brass, piano, and guitar players, as well as vocalists.

Experience:
I have worked on a few video game scores with independent developers in the past, listed here:
- Creeper World III: Arc Eternal (Knuckle Cracker, Inc.)
- Diggy: Mystery of the Earth's Center (Vogd)
- Curve Fever 2 (Geert and the Curve Fever team)

As well as film scores:
- The Daily Paper (Russell Wee)

I'm a composer based in Ottawa, Canada. I'm currently studying at Carleton University doing a BMus. I've completed second year studies and am currently in third year with plans to major in the field of composition. I greatly admire the music and orchestration of Howard Shore, Hans Zimmer and Patrick Watson (the few I can name off the top of my head) as well as countless others. There is brilliance everywhere.
Besides composing music, I tutor music theory and busk in the Byward Market in the summer time. I play in a band, Out Of Control, and you can find us and listen to our music on Facebook, ReverbNation, SoundCloud, BandCamp and Twitter:
