Experienced Professional Composer for Hire

Posted by FinnMK - April 24th, 2015

Hi everyone,

I'm Finn M-K, a professional game/film composer living in Ottawa, Canada! I've worked on several games and films in the past and I'm looking for talented developers with great games to score. I am only interested in paid work. I apologize to talented developers with no budget, but this is how I make a living and I do not do pro bono projects.

I'm always happy to negotiate budget and I can guarantee you will always receive a high quality finished score.

You can hear all of my music, see my past projects, and learn more about me on my website, www.finnmk.com. I'm also on other sites around the net, which I'll link below. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Cheers,
Finn M-K

Hi dude. I saw you *bump* your post in the collaboration forum. Sadly most of us indie game devs have zero budget for our games - it is just something we do in our free time because we have a passion for it. There are a few of us regulars around that are working on games that we hope to one day make it onto Steam or some other selling platform (pre-roll ads hardly make anything at all....well, unless it were to go viral like Flappy Bird haha). So there is still hope that you may find work here :)

I do have an inquiry about your work but I'll send it in a PM tonight (I need to get some sleep I've been up all night doing school projects). If it is more convenient to communicate with you elsewhere let me know.

Thanks for the comment, and yep I'm aware of the financial situation around indie games. This is one of many places I advertise and I've gotten a gig or two from NG before so I see no reason to not keep advertising. Anyways PM me up!

Saw you *bump* your thread again and it reminded me of our previous conversation haha Sorry I never got around to sending you a PM - school has been killing me. I am curious though if you have any experience with eerie, ambient style music? I've browsed through your SoundCloud and didn't really find any kind of music like that. I am going to start building a prototype to a 3D horror game in a couple weeks. It's the kind of game where the environment, ambient music, and sound effects really screw with your mind rather than relying on enemies to make the player on edge.

No worries! I've got a bit of experience in spooky stuff. If you give me an e-mail I can send you some material I did for a horror game that never surfaced.
